Zeenat surprises us and becomes one of our favourite characters as she tries to protect Shehraam. But it also makes us question if this is temporary, and when she sees Shehraam completely falling for Mahnoor, will she also join forces with Kishwer?
The Same Old?
One moment Jaan-e-Jahan disappoints us with typical sazishi plots being executed by the characters. Kishwer threatening Mahnoor in Shehraam’s absence and creating a misunderstanding between the two – a conspiracy plot that has been used a billion times in dramas. But then the very next moment, the story surprises us by showing Zeenat saving Shehraam, and then Abdullah approaching Shehraam for fatherly attention.
A Refreshing Plot Twist
It is refreshing to see that Zeenat is not all negative and has a mind of her own. She also realises that if she wants to marry Shehraam, she cannot let Kishwer control their lives. She probably, genuinely likes Shehraam and is not interested in him merely for his money or his looks. This is definitely a welcome change and won us over as we desperately wanted someone to save Shehraam from the harmful drugs he was being given secretly.
But will Zeenat sustain her positivity even when Shehraam chooses Mahnoor over her?
Mahnoor’s Confusion
It is a little disappointing to see Mahnoor believing that Shehraam is involved in any way with regards to how Kishwer treated her, and she only realises that it might not be true, after meeting the architect Taimoor and talking to her sister, who made her change her perspective.
Mahnoor’s father realises what great work his daughter is doing and how much she is loved by the village children. Looks like Mahnoor will be back in Shehraam ’s life soon.
The last scene with Shehraam sleeping outside her house in his car was a sure winner, making us all go awww… he loves her but doesn’t know how to say it. And that smile Mahnoor has when she sees him… what a heart winner it was.
Team Shehraam Gaining Strength
With Zeenat crossing over to Shehraam’s side Abdul might follow too!
Kishwer is so engrossed in her own life and schemes that she is unable to see Abdullah and what he needs. Would this be a mistake that will eventually make Abdullah Shehraam’s supporter? Is her overconfidence going to cost her big time?
The architect story is interesting. We wonder where will it lead to – Zeenat or Mahnoor?
Tabrez’s Sharp Mind Games
We have to appreciate Tabrez’s patience for sure. He is not rushing things with Gulzaib, just tightening his web around her, playing mind games, and making her think about what she can have with him. The plot keeps us interested and curious to know if he will manage to break her walls and seduce her?
