Has Deebu really died? It has been more than three weeks now. If she has died, she didn’t deserve such a muted and sad death.

Was Deebu fair to her parents? Do we become selfish in our traumas and forget how it will impact our parents? As a mother, has she been fair to her daughter?
Reality Check for Deebu’s Parents
If you had not forced her to marry, but let her study and given her the confidence that you trust her, maybe she could have avoided this mess. Because at the end of the day, it was pure chance that Numair turned out to be someone better before his insecurities hit him hard.
Absolving yourself of all the blame and stating that Andaleeb was always an impulsive, errant young girl who invited his biyfriend Moiz to the rooftop at night and hence, your decision to forcibly marry her off against her wishes was the right decision is a terrible message to send out in a society where forced marriages are still prevalent and honor killing, a grave reality and threat looming over many young couples.
Why were Zara and Dadi missing from the search scenes and Deebu’s death announcement and post-announcement scenes?
The creators had initiated a bond between Zara and Deebu that seemed to have been introdcued in initial storytelling as a close bond between these two. However, with the passage of time, and episodes, both Zara and Deebu seemed to have grown apart for no real reason, with the result that when the story required them to be at each ther’s side, they were absence was felt as a gaping hole in the narrative. Zara’s noticeable absence at this crucial stage in Deebu’s life seemed as if something was left out in the story and took away greatly from the impact.
A Note For Producers
We understand that getting dates from all cast members might be difficult, but Numair’s mother’s absence from any of the search scenes or when Deebu’s parents and Numair were crying over Deebu’s death was really disappointing. She has been a major part of the entire story, and not seeing the family together at such a critical moment takes away from the experience.
The same goes for Zara. Where was she throughout the search process? Why was she absent from all the scenes?
Will Zara and Numair end up together? Zara choosing to raise Deebu’s daughter…?
This plot twist if it does transpire, will be a very predictable conclusion to a drama that needed solutions to the issues raised in Jafaa. If Numair is Azoospermic, we needed closure as audiences and that closure did not necessarily mean Deebu having committed suicide. And if she hasn’t committed suicide, her absence has been too far, too long to vouch for a poerful plot twist.
Hence we hope the creators will remedy the situation in the following Jafaa and episode and give us the conversations we have now come to expect from a drama that has fired debates and created awareness on mental health issues so far.
