Meem Se Mohabbat: Two sad and emotionally heavy episodes, where we saw both Talha and Roshi going through emotional turmoil in their own ways.

Who did you feel for more—Talha or Roshi?
Sabika’s manipulative strategy is working well, and even Talha’s father and Mohid are unable to stop Talha at this moment. The drama also gave us some emotional moments between Roshi and Dada.
Talha’s Torment
Oh Talha, why did you have to be so rude and harsh with Roshi? We understand that you did it to push her away so she could move on. But as you yourself mentioned how young she is, why did you forget that your harsh attitude could truly break her? Maybe even hurt her in a way she won’t be able to recover from. Did you really have no choice but to be this brutal? Roshi’s emotions and her self-respect were both wounded.
Also, since you really care about her, we are wondering why you would impose such a trauma on her young shoulders. Perhaps this is the pain Talha is unconsciously redirecting from his own feelings of guilt and self-loathing to Roshi. Ahad Raza Mir has performed the role with great sensitivity, and one must also laud the writer for bringing out the layers of human emotions that drive Talha’s reactions towards Roshi – his past trauma refusing to leave him.
We would love it if Talha’s dad would make Talha aware of his feelings, not just asking him to marry Roshi and leave Sabeeka, but also make him realize that his behaviour is self damaging and a reaction to his own trauma, not Roshi and his age difference or differing personalities.
Roshi’s Heartbreak
Our hearts break for Roshi—she is so sad and miserable. Probably everyone with a broken heart can relate to her. Her tears make us feel for her. But we are happy that, no matter how heartbroken she is, she never once tried to go back or talk to Talha or anyone related to him. Yet, she was never rude to Mohid; instead, she distracted him politely. Also, she preserved her self-respect in not caving in to Talha’s father and Mohid’s request to visit the house but instead, tried to find a midway solution by suggesting the park – one where she would not have to be answerable to Talha.
Dananeer delivered a heartfelt performance, and we see the visible change in her demeanour as she shifts her once playful personality to a more sober depiction of what the trauma of genuine heartbreak can do to the youngest and bravest of hearts.
The Sabeeka Card
However, what puzzles us a bit is Talha’s decision to marry Sabeeka (as shown in the promo). Can he not see though her toxicity? Although it is understandable that Sabeeka played on his guilt and doubts by bringing up Roshi and his age difference, the fact that she badmouths Roshi should be enough for Talha to disregard her as a potential life partner, not just for himself but as a companion or positive presence for Mohid or his father. In summary, it undermines the feelings Talha has for Roshi, even if he has chosen to keep them to himself, he should be aware that Sabeeka should not disparage her character – by keeping silent, is he partly agreeing to her stance?
Meem Se Mohabbat – The Moments That Mattered
A huge shoutout to the drama for delivering words of wisdom and such meaningful advice through Dada. The bond between Dada and Roshi in this episode was heartwarming. We desperately need such positive characters who share powerful messages. When Roshi broke down in front of him, it was truly her breaking point. She has no one to talk to. The best part? He didn’t judge her, condemn her, or get angry—he simply listened and then gently guided her.
Talha and Roshi’s dynamics have become so intense that it’s difficult to focus on or really enjoy the Omer and Mahi track. At this moment, all our attention is on these two.
Talha getting angry at Mohid was another heartbreaking moment. One thing to notice is how Mohid is now expressing more—forming short sentences of 3-4 words, which he wasn’t doing earlier—all thanks to Roshi. Talha’s father’s eyes when he asked Mohid to go back to his room said so much without words, the way his gaze followed Mohid up the stairs silently was symbolic of his protest and disappointment towards Talha.
Sabika knows exactly where and how to attack Talha. She made sure to emphasize the age difference, making him more conscious of the idea that choosing Roshi would be wrong.
Talha is clearly missing Roshi—the way he stops and looks at the post-it notes in her office says it all.
What is Shariq up to? Can he pull this off? Will Ayat not see through him eventually? Will he use the video to blackmail her into agreeing to marry him? Shariq is someone we cannot underestimate. We’re also scared for Roshi—if this video reaches her parents, they’ll find out she lied to them.
Are you also as invested in Talha and Roshi’s journey as we are. Drop us a comment if the heartbreak had you rooting for these two.
