• The drama highlights one of the biggest realities of our society: Does “baap kya karta hai” still matter today, and does it determine a yes or no in a marriage proposal?
• Is Jami more at fault because of his problematic character rather than the fact that he has no job? It’s not really that he’s unemployed but his dishonest business reputation and his selfish behaviour with his family that is teh real problem.
• Why is there a communication gap between Rohan and Javeria? Why did Rohan not prepare his parents for Javeria’s father? Agreed his parents had not met Javeria’s parents earlier, but don’t different rules apply in a love marriage vs an arranged marriage?
• Daneen and Subuk might also have a love marriage and they too belong to different family backgrounds but teh fact that Daneen has grown up visiting Subuk’s house and also, her parents are well aware of Jami’s problematic personality traits gives this relationship a better chance at a ‘maybe, just maybe, it works’ as opposed to Rohan and Javeria.
• Can we please reduce the neighbors’ track? Why is there so much confusion? Saif and Warda’s story seems to have taken over the story when audiences are more interested in Zeba and Jami’s track. The two stories feel completely disconnected and given that Sanam Saeed and Emmad Irfani essay the first story, it is infact infair to the new actors to have to compete for screen time with seasoned actors.
