Parwarish – As tensions rise and relationships unravel, we ask the tough questions the audience has been thinking all along. Who’s guilty of silence, complicity, or plain neglect? And who, if anyone, deserves redemption? Let the trials begin.

Parwarish – Latest Episodes Review

Each episode of Parwarish peels back the layers of family dynamics, emotional wounds, and generational trauma — but behind every silent look and explosive confrontation lies a choice that could have changed everything. In this courtroom, there are no legal defenses, just moral ones. From Mahnoor’s silence to Jehangir’s rage, Dadi’s judgment to Suleiman’s inaction — we’re holding them all accountable. Buckle up as we question the characters not just for what they did, but for what they didn’t do.

Mahnoor:

Why didn’t you call Jehangir the minute you found out about Aniya’s suicidal videos?
You are accused of hiding critical information and being a party to implicating Jehangir in a crime he is not solely responsible for.

But in her defense, we could assume that Mahnoor herself is in need of counseling, and also asked victim to her husband’s blame games. Hence, though she represented many women who have to submit to emotional blackmailing from their spouse, she was also, always the voice of reason.

We hope this mother of two troubled children and a husband who grows ever more distant, finds a path towards resolving her family’s tormented soul.

Jehangir:

Do you think the drama is being unfair to your character? No father could be so cold and distant, unrelenting — or do such fathers really exist, and you’re representing that rare breed? Do you have anyone to defend you?

While Jahangir’s actions are motivated by his desire to seek a better future fir his family, is he also, perhaps driven by his own insecurities and deep-rooted complexes?

What makes a man turn away from his family and demand unequivocal respect and obedience to his will?

Panna:

You are accused of being complicit in Dadi’s appalling injustice towards Mahnoor. You witnessed Dadi attacking Mahnoor, yet you did nothing to stop it.

Or is Panna a mere representation of so many housewives we see around us, who comply for the sake of maintaining peace in the household? Perhaps Panna needs to believe in her power and wisdom to resolve things. She is not embracing the role she might be cut out for now, which is perhaps, the only sane voice in the family.

Suleiman:

Your actions deserve closer scrutiny, especially since you are in a position of influence. You are accused of not standing up for Wali.

In the past, you’ve stood up to Jehangir multiple times — so why didn’t you get out of the car and refuse to drive until Jahangir met Wali?

And if you chose not to interfere, why didn’t you at least check in on Wali later? Being so sensitive about children’s feelings, you must have known he was going through a difficult time.

In Suleiman’s defence, perhaps he feels he needs to disengage and not intervene in a parent-child dispute though if you ask us, we strongly disagree.

Dadi:

You are accused of repeatedly being insensitive and controlling. You’ve been unfair and judgmental toward Mahnoor in the past, and now you’ve done it again.

Not for a second did you consider how your own son has put his family in a difficult position — and is now running away from it all.

Does Jahangir have a bit if you in him?

Boss:

You are accused of misleading Wali. After lecturing him about Hassan Raheem and Salman Ahmed, you completely lost it when he told you he was applying for a job. Don’t you think Wali needs someone to guide him in balancing his choices, rather than constantly judging and questioning him?

While you schooled Wali on being respectful to his mother, you had nothing to say about Jehangir’s behaviour toward him. We bet you lost a good chunk of your Gen Z followers right there!

Agreed Wali asked you to keep out of his private affairs, but when has that stopped you earlier? You are thr only grown-up in Wali’s life, so play the part will you?

Dada:

This character has been sentenced to demotion — from the kind-hearted head of the family to a passive bystander. He is guilty of taking no plausible action despite holding significant influence, and of being silently complicit in the unfair treatment of Wali.

Do you feel we gave dada more credit than he deserved? Old people don’t always have all the answers, and sometimes, we expect them to be wiser than they are?

Be the judge and let us know what you think in the comments below!
