Tich Button is all set to release on the 11th of Novermber. It will mark Urwa Hocane’s debut as a producer. It will also welcome Farhan Saeed into the cinematic universe. Interestingly, we will see Qasim Ali Mureed as the director, making us hope for something captivating just like his work in Mere Humsafar! The film is written by Faiza Iftikhar. It features an ensemble cast, including Farhan Saeed, Sonya Hussain, Feroze Khan, Iman Ali, Urwa Hocane, Marhoom Ahmad Bilal, Marina Khan, Samiya Mumtaz, Sohail Mumtaz and more.

The cast and crew shared that they were relieved about the movie finally being released after the delay due to the pandemic. The director assured that the film is on par with today’s life and has a very fresh take on family life in Pakistan. Farhan Saeed elaborated on the movie,”It’s a very colorful film. Pakistani families will love it. It’s a family film. That’s the only thing you can call it”
On the topic of social messages in the film, the team shared that the movie does have a social message which is subtly conveyed in the film. Urwa added, “The film is a good story with a lot of good values, specifically family values being reflected in it.” Farhan Saeed further said that he believes entertainment is the most important part of cinema and cinema can pass along messages while sugarcoating and adding humor to them.
Behind The Scenes
Iman Aly expressed how she didn’t face any challenges she was enjoying the shoot and looking forward to her scenes. She also shared that she and Qasim Ali use to look for ways to make the scenes interesting and the table scene was their favorite. Iman also revealed something very interesting, she told us that the Turkish guy which will play alongside her in the movie was a very prominent cast member of the much-loved Turkish show “Mera Sultan”!
Urwa revealed that even though they had body doubles for Feroze and Farhan, they insisted that they want to do the stunts themselves. “We all got hurt. Feroze sprained his foot, I hit my head against the wall, pulled my hamstring, and Iman fell. So everyone had challenges. I looked at Qasim, but we had to do it. as a director he’s noncompromising.” commented Farhan.
Qasim Ali narrated a funny anecdote, “the chasing sequence was a 2 to 3-day shoot. Subha se raat tak Feroze Farhan se bhaag rahe they.”
The team recounted the day when they had created rain in an entire field and everyone from the village gathered to support them. Qasim also shared that they went through the dire process of finding Havelis in Karachi & Islamabad; They eventually found one which was 150 years old, and he hopes that the audience like it.
Overall, the members elaborated that they have worked tirelessly till every last detail to make sure the audience gets to experience a visual and audio treat. They further said that they have immersed every ingredient from their side and sincerely hope that the audience will remember this as a film that added value!
