Qarz e Jaan: Finally, Bisma and Asim are married and even though there is a feeling of impending doom in our hearts, we are glad that the drama showed some tender moments between Asim and Bisma, making sure that when Bakhtiyar drops the bomb, we cry with Bisma. The saddest thing would be if Bisma has to “Rukhsat” Nashwa from her new house to Ammar’s house. Are you also predicting Nashwa and Ammar’s marriage?
Emotionally Charged Episodes
Both episodes were extremely emotional, though the first one was heart-wrenching as well.
The direction and script have done their job when audiences have no control over their tears and emotions. That is exactly what happened as we witnessed Nashwa staying behind as Bisma left the house, going to her room and touching everything that belonged to her mom. It is emotional in any case that she is alone now, but the reality of what she has sacrificed combined with her loneliness, hit us hard. The way she touched the prayer mat, her mother’s dupatta, the ironing table, and scanned the entire room… and then wept, not uttering a single word – her silence was full of so many painful cries.
The Highlight For Us
Burhan and Nashwa’s conversation that followed was beautiful. Both Usama Khan and Yumna Zaidi delivered moving performances and complimented each other. Burhan and Nashwa’s love is calming, slow and carries depth. This time Nashwa was reluctant, though Burhan’s care also melted her at moments. But towards the end, she managed to control herself and not reveal anything. Burhan knows something is wrong and has been saying repeatedly that “you are not the same,” he can see that something has defeated Nashwa, something has changed in her… but sadly, he is unable to find out what it is.
What Is Ammar Up To?
A little while ago, Ammar could not care less about Nashwa and now he can’t stop being dominating and controlling. Even though we were hoping there could somehow be some redemption for Ammar, but the recent episode shows that this will not be possible. He is now enjoying torturing Nashwa and doing exactly what would give peace to dadi and Bakhtiyar.
Our Thoughts
Did Burhan really have to tell Faryal himself that he cannot marry her? Like Faryal mentioned, she felt embarrassed, and he could have done it through Asim or Qudsia. We also understand that Burhan thought it would be more respectful and didn’t want to make Faryal feel insignificant by communicating through their parents and hence, wanted to explain the whole thing himself. Perhaps the initial shock could have come through the parents and then Burhan could have spoken to her.
Happy to see that the script is showing such an empowered and well-sorted female character in Faryal. She accepted Burhan’s decision gracefully and made her mother understand how it is for the best. Marrying someone under pressure cannot lead to a happy life for the two people. And Faryal understood that, which is why she told her mother to not to speak to anyone.
Bisma and Asim Have Our Hearts
Scenes of Bisma and Asim’s life after marriage are so endearing. Appreciation for the creators for showing a romantic relationship between an older couple and doing it in a heart winning manner. Asim is a truly genuine person and wants to do everything that would make Bisma happy.
On That Note
The minor yet significant details in the screenplay must be appreciated. At the nikah scene, the expressions on Bakhtiyar’s face, especially when something falls and Asim holds Bisma’s hand as she bends down to pick it up was too much for Bakhtiyar to digest, he couldn’t bear it and wanted them to leave as soon as possible.
Burhan is not like Asim. His final thoughts as Nashwa left the office: “What is good for me, I will never let it go” is probably a hint that he will fight for Nashwa no matter what Bakhtiyar has planned and will go to any lengths to win her over.

Yes, the last line of Burhan gives hope that he will fight till the end for Nashwa. And though one felt really good that Burhan has finally declined Fariyal but one felt the pain for Fariyal- because she is such a graceful charactar and took the rejection so gracefully.
I am unable to understand why is Nashwa’s waiting for Bakthiar to drop the bomb?….I guess it will be more dramatic.
My prediction is that Burhan will reopen Maheen’s case. Nashwa will fight for Ammar or against Ammar is the question. One trailer had the dialogue that – I will take justice’s side even if it is my shohar on the other side.
Ammar will probably kill himself as the noose will tighten and right at th eend, Nashwa and Burhan will be together
