Veteran actor, Shaan Shahid shared the release date of his upcoming film ‘Zarrar’ on Twitter! Catch up on the details of the film below!
Shaan Shahid who is the writer, director, and also the lead star in the film ‘Zarrar’ shared the news of the film’s release on his Twitter and wrote “#zarrar the wait is over .. releasing 23rd September 2022. InshaALLAH”.
Shaan Shahid who has directed and also written ‘Zarrar’ will be playing the protagonist in the film. In the trailer, Shaan introduces himself as an agent in the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) who works toward eliminating the corrupt forces that are intending to vitiate harmony in Pakistan. We will also be seeing Kiran Malik in the film who is a journalist and Zaraar’s love interest. In addition, we saw a glimpse of Nadeem Baig as Major General Mustajab of the ISI as well as the mentor of the protagonist. On the other hand, Nayyar Ejaz will be once again essaying the role of the antagonist in the film. We see him raising a glass ‘to the dark future of Pakistan.’
According to Wikipedia, ‘Zarrar’ played by Shaan Shahid is a secret agent gone rogue. He is on a mission to end corruption, aiming to solve the seemingly endless cycle of threats against his homeland of Pakistan. With the help of Colonel Mustajab, a close confidant, Zarrar uncovers the secrets of an international operation to dismantle the Pakistani government and subsequently gain control of its Nuclear Weapons Programme. With time running out, Zarrar must act fast in terminating the greatest threat Pakistan has come up against since its inception!
The trailer is fast-paced and looks promising! Despite the trailer being stretched to more than three minutes, it still does not lose your attention and leaves you wanting more! Shaan Shahid looks convincing in his role. While the first half of the film grabs your attention by unveiling the conflict and the extent of the danger posed to Pakistan by different forces around the globe, the second half adopts a lighter tone with the introduction of Kiran Malik’s character. The trailer is backed by action-packed and adrenalin-fuelled scenes that are surely going to be a treat to watch! Needless to say, this is going to be a treat for all Shaan Shahid fans who are going to see the actor once again on the big screen!
