Danish Taimoor and Sarah Khan are setting the screen on fire in Sher, and it’s safe to say, this drama is going strong, gaining momentum with each episode.

With its storyline, power-packed performances, and just the right amount of mystery and emotion, Sher is quickly becoming a must-watch. If you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet, here’s a quick rundown of what’s happening:
At the center of the story is Sher Zaman (Danish Taimoor), the rightful heir to a sprawling business empire and the son of Shah Zaman (YBQ) and his second wife, Tehmeena (Munazzah Arif). Smart, driven, and loyal, Sher is being groomed to take over the family business, until he uncovers a massive financial scam involving his uncle Badar Zaman (Ali Tahir) and his sons.
When he reports the fraud, his father backs him by handing over full control of the business to Sher. But the move rattles the corrupt relatives, and they plot a horrifying car accident to get Sher out of the way. The plan backfires, Shah Zaman is killed, and Sher survives, though gravely injured.
But here’s where things get darker: to stop Sher from reclaiming power, Badar Zaman has him secretly drugged and locked away in a psychiatric facility. According to Shah Zaman’s will, if Sher dies, the inheritance goes to a charitable trust, so they keep him alive, but mentally incapacitated, completely hidden from the outside world.
Enter Fajar: The Game Changer
In walks Fajar (Sarah Khan), a bright, intuitive psychology graduate with a painful past connected to Sher’s cousin, Fahad (Faizan Sheikh). She starts working at the very clinic where Sher is being held, and it doesn’t take her long to sense something isn’t right. Recognizing Sher and piecing together the mystery, Fajar takes it upon herself to help him.
She reaches out to Sher’s aunt (Sunita Marshall) and asks her to convince his heartbroken mother Tehmeena that Sher has been a victim of a sinister plot. Meanwhile, Sher’s former fiancée, Rida (Noreen Gulwani), notices the bond forming between Sher and Fajar, and ends their engagement.
With Fajar’s help, Sher begins to realize he’s been drugged. As he regains clarity, he agrees to fight back. Slowly but surely, he is waking up, and he’s ready to reclaim everything that was stolen from him. The empire. His freedom. His voice.
What makes the drama so interesting is the perfect balance of suspense, emotion, and power dynamics. It’s a story of betrayal, survival, and redemption, with strong female leads, flawed villains, and a central hero you can’t help but root for.
