Talha Chahour and Anmol Baloch are set to share the screen for the very first time in the upcoming drama Neeli Kothi. Check out more details below!
The pairing has caught immediate attention, with many eager to see how this fresh pairing will translate on screen. Whether this duo will hit it out of the park or not, that can only be said once the drama premieres.
The project is directed by Anjum Shahzad, a name that carries weight in the world of Pakistani television. With hits like Abdullahpur Ka Devdas, Pehli Si Mohabbat, and Idiot under his belt, his involvement signals that Neeli Kothi won’t be just another run-of-the-mill serial. The drama also marks the return of celebrated writer Saima Akram Chaudhary, who’s coming back after a two-year break with this new script. She revealed the project herself on Instagram, much to the delight of her fans.
The moment the title was revealed, fans began speculating about the genre. One follower even asked in the comments if Neeli Kothi would be a comedy, to which Saima replied simply: “No.” That brief answer was enough to suggest that the drama may take a more serious or unexpected direction, quite possibly different from the lighthearted tone her previous work is known for.
Backed by Moomal Productions, a name associated with quality storytelling, Neeli Kothi already has drama fans intrigued. The story, cast, and creative team are all strong, and the early reactions show that people are eager to see what lies behind the name Neeli Kothi.
With so many pieces falling into place, all eyes are now on the first promo drop. Until then, stay tuned for more updates!
