Ibn-e-Hawa is an upcoming drama expected to air next year on HUM TV, and we are already eagerly waiting to watch it! But, is it going to be something separate from the usual Saas-Bahu story? Perhaps, it is too soon to predict as there is not much to say right now, but one can still hope for some refreshing content!
Cast & Crew Of Ibn-e-Hawa!
Ibn-e-Hawa is directed by ‘Phaans’ director, Syed Ahmed Kamran, and written by Saji Gul of ‘O Rangreza’ & ‘Dour.’ Moreover, the drama is produced by Momina Duraid Production and will be aired next year on Hum TV. The cast of the drama includes the beautiful Hira Mani of ‘Yun Toh Hai Pyar Buhat‘ & Aymen Saleem of ‘Chupke Chupke‘ alongside Shehzad Sheikh of recent hit ‘Phaans‘.
The Story Of Ibn-e-Hawa ?
According to Minute Mirror, the writer Sagi Gul explains that the drama is on the subverted idea, which goes against the often spoken phrase, ‘Ibn-e-Adam’. Moreover, he says that the serial is scripted on the distortion of perspective infused into the minds of men. Ibn-e-Hawa is a portrayal of how men are taught to hate women. Further, the writer states that being called ‘Ibn-e-Adam’, men are made to associate themselves with a male figure. And Amma Hawa’s name gets overshadowed. Hence, the makers of Ibn-e-Hawa think that the reasons for inequality towards the female gender are being observed for a very long time.
Will Ibn-e-Hawa Be Successful In Crushing Patriarchy In Pakistan?
As the teaser or trailer isn’t out yet, it is hard to say if it’s going to be tough enough to fight misogyny in Pakistan. Moreover, the author’s point of view might spark a debate on social media between those speaking for & against women’s rights. However, as we know that the director Syed Ahmed Kamran likes to raise his voice against taboo topics, we can expect a thought-provoking drama on our tables! Hence, we can also say on some level that the Ibn-e-Hawa might serve a promising watch for the audience!
We hope that Ibn-e-Hawa is intriguing you, just like us! Let us know your thoughts on patriarchy and how important it is to raise your voice for gender equality!
