1.Global Village
As its name suggests, Global Village genuinely lives up to its global reputation. Whether you’re a fan of amusement parks, have a passion for exploring diverse global cuisines, or are eager to shop for the finest and most authentic products from around the world, Global Village offers something for everyone. You can discover over 90 different cultures, view 27 beautifully designed themed pavilions. Moreover, there are more than 175 rides, games, and attractions to enjoy. From opulent Persian carpets to delectable Italian pasta in cheese bowls and top-notch Korean skincare products, Global Village offers a true immersion in global diversity, all in one place. Each pavilion masterfully transports visitors to its respective country through evocative scents, flavors, sounds, and vibrant decorations, making it possible to journey across the world one pavilion at a time.
It’s a place where you can easily dedicate an entire day because, after all, you can explore more than 27 countries in just one day, which is no small feat, but an experience that is truly captivating. During our visit to the village, we had the opportunity to explore a couple of pavilions, including Iran, Turkey, Japan, and Korea.
Our Experience
The Iranian Pavilion stood out with its opulent display of exquisite, expansive carpets, rare gemstones, and iconic architecture that left us marveling. In contrast, the Turkish Pavilion was bustling with activity, offering beautiful Turkish jewelry, entertaining Turkish ice cream stands, an array of fresh fruits, ceramics, and dreamcatchers.
K-pop enthusiasts would undoubtedly find the Korean pavilion exciting, with its abundance of K-pop and idol posters serving as an instant attraction. The pavilion was lively, featuring traditional Korean performances, well-stocked Korean skincare kiosks, and a wide selection of tantalizing Korean spices and ramen. Exuding a super fun vibe and capturing the ambiance of Korean streets so well, it sure was a lively and energetic atmosphere.
Despite all the excitement, it also provided informative insights into the culture of each country. Every pavilion had so much to offer and the atmosphere is incredibly enjoyable! However, dont expect to have it all covered in a short span of time because to take in all the bustling energy, lively dances, enjoyable games, and an abundance of delicious food you will need to be relaxed.
A bonus tip: Tuesdays are reserved exclusively for ladies and families, except on official public holidays, so make use of that if you wish!
2. Souk Madinat Jumeirah
Did you even go to Dubai if you miss this popular Arabic market? Part of the breathtaking Madinat Jumeirah resort, the souk replicates the ancient arabic markets in central Dubai. Souk Madinat Jumeirah encapsulates the authentic Arabian essence, with more than 25 dining outlets, as well as a diverse range of shops and galleries, all complemented by waterfront views. When you visit in the evening, the marketplace truly comes to life with a dynamic blend of music performances and a multitude of engaging activities.
The captivating scents of spices and alluring Arabic fragrances, the enchanting sight of lanterns, and the enticing array of souvenirs will tempt you to spend the entire day there. 3. Sky Views Observatory
Located 219.5 meters above ground, Sky Views Observatory has swiftly become a popular tourist hotspot, offering visitors breathtaking and panoramic views of Downtown Dubai’s immaculate cityscape below, as well as the majestic city skyline. What’s so special about it, you ask? This architectural marvel consists of three unbelievable offerings for an unforgettable and thrilling sightseeing experience – the Observatory, Glass Slide and Edge Walk.

We were highly impressed by the fact that the chef personally elaborated on each dish while you sat in the restaurant’s serene, ambient, low-lit environment. The DJ seamlessly complemented the atmosphere with music that enhanced the overall experience. They also caters to vegan and allergies diet on request.
5. Aya Universe
Aya is the place everyone visiting Dubai wants to be at and for good reason. It is an instagrammer’s dream! An expansive 40,000 square feet of fully immersive entertainment space awaits you. As soon as you step inside, you’ll find yourself enveloped in cutting-edge sound, lighting, and visuals, all within the encompassing world of AYA, divided into 12 distinct zones, each narrating a unique tale.
This interactive adventure will lead you through various rooms, beginning with Aurora at its core, where touch technology responds to visitors, before guiding you through other realms such as the vibrant Flora, the tranquil Tides, and the meandering journey of The River. Each zone represents a different feeling, experience ranging from meditative and serene to vibrant and filled with colors, and even one that challenges your perception of reality with captivating illusions. It’s a genuine artistic journey in every sense.
It’s a place for all, to be mesmerized, no matter your age but perhaps keep in mind that AYA is a vibrant multimedia experience and may not be suitable for those sensitive to flashing lights, loud noises, and dark spaces.
