Dr. Nofil’s question was a reflection of society, where we do not our raise voice for many important issues but create a fuss about minor things, just like the panchayat completely ignoring Rani’s death.
Roshan’s Singing
When Roshan started singing, it wasn’t bad actually and we had hope that maybe this is his true calling, only to end up laughing out loud just like Muqaddas and her father. Roshan is a true character, he quoted Meenu’s dialogues word by word about mohabbat and mehnat exactly as she had related them to him, trying to win her over and impress her, but alas her father appeared just at that moment.
Dr. Nofil’s Apology
Now it is Meenu’s turn to give a hard time to Dr. Nofil. Maybe he also took it too far and was very harsh with her, hurting her in the process. But this time, even his offer to tutor her didn’t change Meenu’s stance. Maybe it is a good thing that now she will try to stand on her own instead of being dependent on anyone, which she hasn’t been so far. The panchayat scene was interesting and had our hearts racing. What would Meenu’s response be? How will the villagers respond? We were all relieved when she gives an entirely different account of what had happened and turns the tables on Malik Nadir. We wonder what the four brothers are planning. Will they succeed? It is sad to see that Meenu’s biggest opponents are in her own house.

A big shout out to Zard Patton Ka Bunn for showing such a positive and heart winning father figure. We absolutely love Meenu’s father and how he stands by her no matter what. Such a great role model for audiences, showing how a girl can prosper and become successful if she has the support of her father. Three characters in the drama that are beacons of positivity, and we adore them are Meenu’s father, the maulvi sahib and compounder Fazal. We absolutely love how they protect and support Meenu – Meenu’s guardian angels.
