The 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles on Monday night, having been delayed by months due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes. Hosted by actor and comedian Anthony Anderson, the awards show featured historic wins and impactful speeches.

The Grey’s Anatomy Mini Reunion
Justin Chambers, Katherine Heigl, Ellen Pompeo, James Pickens Jr., and Chandra Wilson, renowned actors from the beloved medical series “Grey’s Anatomy,” honored the cast, crew, and fans of the enduring show. Debuting in 2005, “Grey’s Anatomy” has amassed over 400 episodes across 19 seasons, solidifying its status as the longest-running primetime medical drama in television history.

Dinklage then gave the award for Outstanding Drama Series to Succession, which beat out Andor, Better Call Saul, The Crown, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The White Lotus and Yellowjackets for the trophy.
Tribute To Mathew Perry
Producers for the “In Memoriam” segment brought together the unexpected combination of Charlie Puth and the country duo the War and Treaty. They delivered a performance of “See You Again,” the song originally performed by Puth and Wiz Khalifa as a tribute to “Fast and Furious” actor Paul Walker. However, they briefly shifted into the Rembrandts’ “I’ll Be There for You,” the theme song from the sitcom “Friends.”
This touching moment served as a sweet tribute to cast member Matthew Perry, whose passing deeply impacted the industry in October.
The Presley Girls
Seems all well in the Presley family again. After legal rifts between the grandmother, Priscilla Presley and grand daughter, Riley Keough (daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley’s daughter) the two were seen posing and arriving together at the Emmys.
Succession Is Unstoppable
Succession has really won this year. After winning best drama series, the TV show has continued to bag awards for its main lead actor and actress too. Kieran Culkin wins the award for outstanding lead actor in a Drama series at the Emmys.

Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco Are Official
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco debuted officially as a couple and their first appearance at the Emmys served the purpose. Seated beside each other (alongside Martin Short and Steve Martin) during the TV awards ceremony. The duo appeared to be in an affectionate mood!
Suki Waterhouse’s Fiery Maternity Look
British model and actress Suki Waterhouse, also in a relationship with Edward Cullen, oops we meant Robert Pattinson. The couple announced a while back about their pregnancy and Suki was seen in a rather unique look amping up her maternity fashion.
