Faraar: After an exciting episode last week, we were hoping for a similarly entertaining, fast-paced watch that would also answer some of our questions. Sadly, that was not the case.
It was a little disappointing to find out that it wasn’t some smart scheming from Mohsin Baig but load-shedding that dissolved the tension between Bali, Batish, and Mohsin.
Faraar – What happened to Baggi?
Why is the minister after Baggi and why did Nazish’s brothers kill his PA? We really wanted to know what the PA had done to Baggi and how she reached Akmal, but we must wait another week. While we love watching the other tracks and genuinely enjoy Faraar, we can’t ignore how the viewing experience is affected when stories are dragged out unnecessarily—which is happening right now.
The same issue is occurring with the Faraz and Batish scenario. What is the next step in their Faraar story?
Although Baggi’s mom was being very brave, like Baggi, we are also scared. What if they do find her? We saw the two younger brothers apparently driving toward their village.
The Love Story
The exchange between Sadia and Fasih was cute. Fasih smuggling Mohsin Baig was something we didn’t expect. It seems that in exchange for information on Batish, Fasih is letting Mohsin Baig go and even helping him escape.
Azam Shah’s conversation with his party workers again reflects how things used to be—and perhaps still are to a large extent—especially in parties whose leaders left the country at one time or another.
Babrik’s Story
Thankfully, Babrik’s story has finally moved forward and is now showing progress. Was Babrik justified in killing his uncle and cousin? They did plan to send him on a journey that would have ruined his life, so they were indirectly planning to eliminate him.
Bali’s Sinister Intent
Bali’s double-layered conversation not only scared Batish but also made him think. He was clearly uncomfortable with Bali saying all those things to Faraz—about how a girl can indirectly lead to your death and how he could easily be rid of this situation right now. What has Batish decided? That’s what we’re curious to know.
We were eagerly awaiting to find what happened between Bali and Mohsin Baig, how did Mohsin Baig escape. But all that happened was a blackout which led to their escape. So, did Bali escape to save his life from QIP since he could not accomplish the task of removing Mohsin Baig? The drama could have used another exciting twist here, or are all those reserved for Batish?
