The visuals are stunning, and the direction deserves a solid 10/10. The performances are equally impressive. We loved the energy between Saima Noor and Sajal Aly – their phuppo-bhatiji bond lights up the screen. Humayun Saeed’s entry was powerful, and the intense dialogue exchange between Asim Raza Mir, Babar Ali, and Salman Shahid added a lot of depth. One of the standout moments came in Episode 2, with Sajal and Humayun’s scene together – a winner for sure.

A passenger bus carrying a Karachi-based qawwali troupe was ambushed near Niemargh Cross in Kalat, Balochistan. Senior journalist and TV anchor Jasmeen Manzoor has shared harrowing details of domestic abuse. On July 16, she posted graphic photos on X (formerly Twitter) showing bruising and swelling around her eye and lips, attributing the injuries to her ex-husband.
