Eid is here, along with the annual dramas that appear just once a year. Yes, you’ve got it right—we’re referring to telefilms that used to air on weekends in the past but now come around bi-annually, offering big laughs, a few tears, and much more!

Every year, fresh talent, new narratives, and innovative visuals grace our screens. There’s a diverse approach to social issues, varied comedic styles, and much more happening in Pakistan’s drama scene. Amidst all this, Eid arrives, bringing joy, and telefilms typically offer laughter moments, focusing solely on entertainment and comedy. This year’s lineup appears promising; let’s sneak a peek at the teasers and speculate on what’s in store!

The trio of Khaqan Shahnawaz, Tamoor Akbar, and Zarrar Khan promises loads of fun and entertainment. They seem to get into quite a pickle thanks to this mysterious pizza girl—just check out the police officer showing up at their door in the teaser! And guess who’s wearing the badge? None other than Umer Aalam!
With a promising cast and a storyline that’s totally out there (seriously, when was the last time you saw a drama about a pizza delivery girl?), we’re super hyped for this one! Bring on the laughs and the mystery!

The plot will revolve around two cousins who initially won’t be able to stand each other and won’t wish each other well. However, as the story progresses, they will inevitably fall in love.
You will see a completely different Mah e Nur in this one – a “Mard Mar” Mah e Nur. With a totally new role and a tomboy outlook, how these two will fall in love will be a delightful surprise. The teaser suggests the show will be fun and filled with bite-sized comedy and entertaining moments, neither too preachy nor too bland.
What is making it even more promising than the teaser is the writer behind the series. Yes folks, it’s none other than Saima Akram Chaudhary. How is it possible that Saima Akram Chaudhary writes a script and it’s not fun? Not possible! Make sure not to miss this one, or you’ll definitely have FOMO!

The story will not start off with the expected love and blossoms, as both leads will initially be interested in other people. They will seemingly have their own love stories with which they will be happy, but that’s not how it’s going to go!
Here’s where the fun will begin: our heroine will get a tattoo with her boyfriend’s name, who is not going to be her husband presumably. Now, the question is, will our heroine end up with her “Ahsan,” whose name she has tattooed on her hand, or will everything fall apart? Watch out for this one, filled with mystery and fun!

The teaser suggests that Nadia’s and Yashma’s character will both be eager to get married but will find it frustratingly elusive! Adding to the fun, Muneeb Butt will appear as the jinn of the house, creating more chaos and comedy. Nadia’s character, predictably, will fall in love with the jinn, but it seems the jinn might actually be meant for Yashma’s. The quirky love triangle will keep viewers guessing and laughing throughout.
